SES are contracted to provide labour to carry out maintenance works on the, Northern, Jubilee, Piccadilly and part of the Metropolitan Lines.

Types of work include, track reconditioning, pit block replacement, track refurbishment, conductor rail replacement, points and crossings, enhanced track renewals, life extension works, rolling vehicle access requirements, stressing and removal of non-compliances and train arrestors.

Gang sizes range between 10 and 18 staff, which include Site Person in charge, Ganger, Lead Platelayers, Skilled Platelayers, Un-Skilled Platelayers, Protection Masters and T002/T003 handback Engineers.

This service has been live since June 2011, predominantly working in Engineering hours Sunday to Thursday, with possessions taking place Friday to Sunday.
